Interdict Arcanum

The Interdict Arcænum is not a single dictate, but refers to the collection of royal proclamations, laws, and customs of the lands that forbid the practise of magic. Though they vary in their exact wordings and implementation, all have the effect of making witches outcasts.

In Tayel, the Interdict is a law banning the use of magic and making all articles of magical practise the property of the Queen.

Members of the Coster deny that mages still exist, and tend to be hostile to the suggestion otherwise.
