Land of Stones

North of Tayel's coast is the Land of Stones. The coast north of the Fens is composed of high, windswept cliffs overtopped by the northward march of the Wraithspur Mountains. Those who have braved the Fens or scaled the cliffs to explore describe lonely badlands of ragged peaks and ridges harbouring dense tangles of stunted trees in the lees of gulleys.

The most notable feature of the Land of Stones reported by travellers are the weathered standing stones that dot the landscape singly and in patterned groupings.
