Rook's Hollow

Rook's Hollow is a small settlement perched precariously above the Swift River in the shadow of High Castle. It is the port for its larger neighbour. Large winches haul platforms and baskets laden with goods and passengers from the river docks up the cliffs to the town's staging grounds. From there, regular traffic carries goods to High Castle.

A large detachment of Royal Dragons is permanently assigned to ensure the security of Rook's Hollow. Patrols on the road to High Castle and on the river below Rook's Hollow are common. The detachment is also responsible for collecting the Queen's taxes on goods arriving from afar.
