Sandwood

Sandwood lies on the western shore of the Bay of Shoals, its northern extent verging on the foothills of the Dayfall Mountains. It extends untold leagues to the west, and is a vast wasteland shunned by travellers. Its position effectively severs any overland route between Tayel and the lands to the south.

Those few who have been close enough to describe the Sandwood say it is a desert covered in dead trees, or maybe a dead forest undermined by a desert. It is inhospitable, dark, and tangled. The shifting sands quickly obscure any trail and make negotiating the forest difficult.
