Steel Age

The Steel Age predates and overlaps with the time of the Witch Wars. It became known as the Steel Age after the fact, when the effects of the Iron Curse became evident and forced a return to bronze and other non-ferrous metals.
Due to the significant political repercussions of the Witch Wars, the term also invokes the arrangement of nations prior to the Wars.
